Summer is here and it’s prime time for filling up on fresh fruits, veggies and maybe a few treats!

Where better to do so than at some of St. Louis’ top local farmers markets? Check out some of our favorites!

Schlafly Farmers Market

In the heart of Maplewood, Schlafly Bottleworks hosts 30 farmers and local food vendors on Wednesday nights from spring into fall. You’ll find local produce, farm fresh eggs, various herbs, organic meat, fresh artisan bread and gorgeous flowers. An added perk is the live music and the ability to grab a beer inside while you shop! Check the Schlafly Farmers Market website for more details.

When: Wednesdays 4:00 – 7:00 pm, April through October

Tower Grove Farmers Market

Tower Grove Park’s urban forest sets this farmers market apart from others. With more than 50 vendors of local produce, delicious ready-to-eat food, artisan coffee and tea, flowers grown right in the city, and live music, it’s sure to keep you entertained while you shop and eat!

Where: 4256 Magnolia Ave., St. Louis, MO 63110
When: Saturdays 8:00 am – 12:30 pm, Mid-April through November

Kirkwood Farmers Market (Summit Produce)

The Kirkwood Farmers Market exudes the hometown charm that the area is known for. You’ll find local and broker-supplied produce along with meats and cheeses, plants and flowers, jams and ready-to-eat tasty treats. The warm weather market is open early April through September, and every fall the market hosts a pumpkin patch, along with the Harvest Market, which is a smaller version of the summer market selection. Every day during the winter you can enjoy the annual Christmas market.

Where: 150 E. Argonne Drive, Kirkwood, MO 63122
When: Weekdays from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm, Saturdays from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, and Sundays for some vendors. Early April through September

Soulard Farmers Market

The Soulard Farmers Market is full of rich St. Louis history with the land and buildings dating back to the 1800’s. You will find lots of locally and shipped goods of all sorts! More than 80 vendors are there every week selling produce, meat, seafood, baked goods, plants, spices, clothes and so much more. Take a stroll and enjoy what Soulard Market has to offer!
